You meander through the halls and rooms of the Orcish Frat House, puzzled by the fact that the decor consists mainly of posters of naked women and beer advertisements in what is ostensibly a learning institution. Then, one particular poster grabs your attention: it depicts a small group of angry-looking young men, dressed in martial arts uniforms and striking poses that you recognize as fundamental attack stances.

"Excuse me!" you say, grabbing a nearby frat orc by the shoulder. "Who are these warriors, please?"

"You mean the Two-Wang Clan? Their rhymes are dope, yo!"

You aren't sure what that means exactly, but before you can ask for clarification, the young orc begins to chant:

"Step to me without respect, you best expect
your neck shattered, scene spattered and blood-flecked
like the curb you kissed because you dissed, you won't be missed,
the Way of the Fist results in your face cold wrecked!"

"The Way of the Surprising Fist!" you gasp. "Please, continue reciting!" You grab a pencil and paper and take frantic notes as the orc excitedly jumps up and down, waving his arms and shouting dope rhymes at you.

You acquire an item: Teachings of the Fist

Occurs at the Orcish Frat House.

  • The name of this non-combat adventure is a play on the title of the classic 1978 kung-fu film from the Shaw Brothers "The 36th Chamber of Shaolin" (aka "The Master Killer" and "Shaolin Master Killer"), directed by Liu Chia-liang and starring Gordon Liu.
  • The kanji on the scroll means "root", "man", and "big". If you reverse the order, it means "big penis" since "man-root"/男根 is "penis".
