A Beach

While wandering along one of the beaches of the tropical island, you encounter a camp full of teenage half-orcs.

"Hey, man," says one of them, "welcome to our self-sufficient democratic utopia, man."

"Are you really self-sufficient?" you ask.

"Well, not really. One of us has to take a trip back to the mainland once a week for food, and magazines and stuff, y'know."

"Hmm. Do you at least have a true democracy going, then?" you ask.

"It started out that way," he says, "but after a while the best looking people just sort of took over, so now it's sort of a popularity contest-cum-monarchy."

"Er, is it at least a utopia?" you ask.

"Oh, yeah, man. It's totally utopian."

"What's your secret, then?" you ask.

"Beer, man. Beer."

You decide to head back to the mainland right away, otherwise you might never want to leave. Pretty smart move.
