A Boarding Pass
As you swim through the skate park, one more ragtag band of ice and roller skates blocks your path. They've all got their fair share of bumps and bruises -- you've fought these guys before, and it didn't go well for them. "Look, guys," you say, "this is just getting embarrassing. You're going to swim at me, and I'm going to beat the stuffing out of you, and you're going to swim away. Is that really what you want? Because -- just sayin' -- my board doesn't have a single bruise or broken bone. It can do this far longer than you can."
"Yeah," an ice skate says, "we were just leaving. C'mon, guys, let's skate somewhere else." They skate off, leaving the park for more peaceful skates. Go you!
