A Chewy Encounter (Pickle)
As you wander the back alleys of BorderTown, wondering if anyone wears the godawful T-shirts they sell to tourists, you're accosted by a little kid selling chewing gum.
"¿Quieres chicle?" He asks.
Thankfully, you remembered to pick up a BorderSpeak phrasebook when you crossed The Border, and you know how to respond to him.
"No, gracias, mis dientes no son suficiente duras para mascarlo," you say.
"Wait, you speak BorderSpeak?" The kid asks.
"Wait, you speak English?" You say, almost at the same time.
"In that case, do you want to buy some chicle? I mean, quieres chewing gum? I mean, do you quiero comprar chewing gum? Oh, forget it." The kid throws some gum at you and walks off in disgust, looking for less savvy tourists to bother.
