As you're prowling around the exterior of Stella's compound, you hear a strange clinking noise coming from behind a rock. When you investigate, you find a large weird-looking snail munching on some weeds. The weird thing about it is that its shell appears to be made of shiny interlocking rings.

You figure taming it is probably worth a shot. I mean, it's a slow-moving plant-eating thing with a shell, so it's basically a turtle, right? Just a particularly slimy one.

Try to tame it

You carefully approach the snail and poke it. It waves its antennae at you, but otherwise doesn't take much notice, so you poke it a few more times. Eventually it seems to get annoyed (you guess... I mean, it's kind of hard to judge the emotions of a snail) and wanders off, leaving behind a few shed scales.

You acquire 2−4 piles of snailmail bits

Occurs at The Outer Compound.

Notes

  • Does not cost an adventure.

You reach out to the snail, trying your best to exude vibrations of peace and love although frankly you have no idea at all how to relate to a snail. It crawls onto your hand, and oh my god that feels gross. You quickly shake it off and spend a few minutes flailing around in disgust.
      HPYou lose 19−20 hit points.
