Bandersnatches are known for their fuming, furious nature, but this one seems sick of the whole business. Maybe he's tired of explaining what a mome rath is, or tired of playing second fiddle to the Jabberwocky.
Or maybe he's just tired of all the "I hardly *know* her!" jokes.

- The Bandersnatch is a fictional creature mentioned in Lewis Carroll's poems Jabberwocky and The Hunting of the Snark.
- The description of the Bandersnatch as "apathargic" is a nod to the other portmanteaus Carroll made up in his poetry. In this case, it's a mix of apathetic and lethargic.
