When Used

Most of the entries in the notebook are either illegal, immoral, or fatte... wait. Most of the entries in the notebook are either useless, incomprehensible, or disintegrating, but you do find one page with some useful information on it: Pikachutlotal, god of thunder and lightning Bulbazinalli, god of plants and nature Charcoatl, god of fire and war Squirtlcthulli, god of water and doorknobs

Notes

• These depict elemental gods. Each element is represented by a color, which allows you to insert the stones without losing adventures. See Quest for the Holy MacGuffin for details.

History

• This item was phased out with the Hidden City revamp on August 24, 2013.

References

• Each "elemental god" references a different starting Pokémon (Pikachu, Bulbasaur, Charmander, and Squirtle, respectively) from the Pokémon series of games.
• Each "elemental god" is also a reference to an Aztec god, including Quetzalcoatl and Mictlantecuhtli.
• The first sentence refers to the old saw from Alexander Woollcott: "Everything I like is either illegal, immoral or fattening."
