You make your way into what must be the darkest part of the barrow, or at least tied for the darkest part because you can't imagine how anywhere could be darker. In the darkness, you hear a hiss, and a scratching noise, and an evil chuckle. Uh-oh. You start flailing around randomly in the darkness, trying to hit whatever is in here with you.

You've wandered back into the deep, dark area of the barrow. You can hear the hissing and scratching of the barrow wraith, or wight, or whatever it is, all around you. It cackles and crackles and uh is also sending out a fax I guess?

It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue. A grue that is whispering at you through a walkie-talkie.

You're back in pitch-darkness again, surrounded by the sounds of slavering, hissing, cackling monsters. Suddenly, the monster noises fade out, and you hear someone playing spooky organ music? And that stops, and you hear what sounds like a tape rewinding, and then you hear the monsters again.

Back in the pitch-black barrow tunnel, you hear monsters gibbering and hissing all around you. One of them asks if you've got your ears on, then warns you about a brake check in the eastbound hammer lane.
