When Used:

You cause all the purple candles on your Roman Candelabra to explode. The blast of purple light partially blinds you and makes a duplicate of the monster! You acquire an effect: Everything Looks Purple (duration: 50 Adventures)

Notes

• The copy is fought as a fight immediately following (chained) the current combat. With the following link text (the monster is also tinted purple):
  • Time to fight a purple copy of your foe...
• If the monster is marked nocopy:
  • This monster will not sit still and allow you to mimeograph it.
• If you only have exactly 1 Adventure remaining:
  • Mimeography is a process that takes time, and you don't have much time right now.
• Running away from combat, whether by using the Run Away option or a skill such as Blow the Green Candle!, will negate the copying effect of this skill while retaining the 50 turn effect of Everything Looks Purple, effectively wasting the skill.
  • However, the next combat encounter will still show the monster being purple as if it were the copied monster.
