- This item refers to the tequila brand Jose Cuervo. The transformation from "Cuervo" (Spanish for "crow") to "Sinsonte" (Spanish for mockingbird) makes this a "mockingbird tequila", a pun of To Kill a Mockingbird.
- This nod to Harper Lee's novel is also evident in the description, which contains a reference to one of the most famous lines from the book, spoken by Atticus Finch: "They've done it before and they did it tonight and they'll do it again and when they do it - seems that only children weep."
