Shouldn't Data Pages be prevented from coming up when you request a "Random page"?--The Safe 06:29, 14 November 2006 (CST)
- In order for that to happen, one of two things needs to be done:
1. Patch the wiki to exclude all pages ending in "/data" from Random Page and Search.
2. Move all (just over 2,000) data pages into their own Namespace.
The former would probably be rather complicated, and the latter would be simple but rather time-consuming to do, even using a bot (since I'd have to get my bot equipped with Move/Delete privileges, write new backend code to teach it how to move and delete pages, and then thoroughly test it before actually running the conversion). --Quietust (t|c) 07:52, 14 November 2006 (CST)
