I think its just how the part template adds an automatic plural to whatever part in the form of adding the 's', regardless of whether it is accurate. I ought to figure out how to override it. --Volc (talk) 15:30, 2 October 2019 (UTC)
- {{PartsCatSub}} does the pluralization. It's mostly just a bunch of special cases and a default 's'. It could certainly use more/better heuristics, or to be updated for anything that pluralized badly. --Fig bucket (talk) 23:10, 2 October 2019 (UTC)
