Cheer Core Get
At long last, you enter the locked storage room. Inside, you find a large assortment of technological macguffins, one of which is fortuitously labelled "CHEER CORE BACKUP UNIT". It's a round metal thing with little red and green lights blinking on the side, several different ports and jacks, and a large red button (which you tape a sheet of paper over, so Tammy doesn't see it).

You grab the cheer core and leave the lab as fast as your little feet will carry you.
When you get it back to the campfire, Tammy is so excited that she can't stop hopping up and down, tambourine rattling like a windchime in a hurricane. The two of you rush to the monorail station -- well, she rushes, you're carrying a heavy metal cube -- and deliver it to Abuela Crimbo, who immediately takes it to the factory with a team of tech elves. Crimbo is saved once again!
"Wait, hang on," Tammy says. "What about the gray goo monsters?"
"Eh, the bonfire will go out in a few days, and the labs will ice over again," you say. "It's probably fine."
