Childe (Player Name) to the Procedurally-Generated Tower Came
From A KoL Wiki
You walk through the door of the tower and find yourself in a candlelit antechamber. Beyond it is a set of stairs leading to a door.
Through the door you can hear a rattling. A rattling of bones. Skeletons. Why did it have to be skeletons?
Because skeletons are freakin' awesome, that's why.
Occurs on your first adventure in The Tower of Procedurally-Generated Skeletons.
References
- The name of this adventure refers to the Robert Browning poem "Childe Roland to the Dark Tower Came", which is itself a reference to a line from William Shakespeare's play King Lear.
- The line asking "Why did it have to be skeletons?" refers to a similar line in Raiders of the Lost Ark about snakes. ("X. Why did it have to be X" is actually Indie's catchphrase).
