Clockwork sword

A sword, which is basically a long sharp bit of metal used to cut people with, might not be the sort of thing you'd consider worth overcomplicating with elaborate clockwork machinery. And you'd be right. Still, the whirling cogs and gears do a pretty good job of mangling things.
