You see a little frozen pond in a clearing up ahead. There's a blue-furred werewolf skating on it, making little figure-eights with his claws. He spots you and looks a little embarrassed, but then he attacks.

You follow a path of frost-rimed tracks on the ground into a little clearing between the trees. As a cold werewolf leaps out at you, prepared to spill and then freeze your blood, you ponder the wisdom of following strange tracks out in the forest.
You step on a leaf and it breaks in half with a sharp snap, like it's frozen solid. Then you step on a dead squirrel and it does the same thing. Something's very cold has just passed this way, and you hope you don't encounter it. Then you run smack into a cold werewolf, and that's what you get for hoping.
A werewolf leaps up from the tall grass in front of you, and howls a spine-chilling howl. Actually, it's an everything-chilling howl--it's so cold you feel the vitreous and aqueous humours in your eye freeze. And your humerus in your arm.
There's a rustling in the underbrush, then a growling and a barking, and then a werewolf leaps out! He looks at you, ravenous, the drool falling from his chops turning into icicles as it falls. "Um...I'd probably taste really gross?" you say. "Not after you're flash-frozen," the werewolf growls, and attacks.
You feel goosebumps breaking out on your skin. Mist forms in front of your mouth as you inhale, and your snot is turning to icicles inside your nose. Brrrr! "Man, it's cold out here!" you gasp. "It's colder in here," a voice growls from behind you, "as you're about to find out."
A snowball smacks you upside the head. You spin around--who has a snowball out here in the forest, where there hasn't been snow on the ground in weeks? A cold werewolf steps out from behind a tree, bouncing another snowball in one hand and grinning his blue-cold teeth at you.
You slip and fall to the ground heavily (which is the only way you do anything, har har har). You scrabble around trying to get up, but the forest floor is covered with a thick sheet of ice. It's almost like there's something supernaturally cold in here, like a-- "Like a cold werewolf?" a voice growls, and you feel icy breath on your back.
You stop to rest under a tree. It's weirdly cold in this part of the forest; it's so cold it makes it hard to breathe. You lean against the tree to catch your breath, but then something falls out of the tree and shatters at your feet, making you jump a foot in the air. Oh, wow. It was a frozen squirrel! That's going to be disgusting when it thaws. But what could have flash-frozen a squirrel like that? Some kind of cold werewolf or something? Yup, that's exactly it.
Something comes flying through the air at you. You leap aside, and it shatters against a tree beside you. You stoop to inspect it, narrowly avoiding another projectile. You pick up some of the pieces, and they're freezing cold--ice? Who's throwing ice out here? A werewolf steps out from behind the trees, exhaling freezing breath. He breaks another icicle off of his fur and wings it at you.
The air in this part of the forest is cold enough to numb the tip of your nose (or full of cocaine enough, but it's probably the cold thing). You wonder how parts of the forest can be so stifling hot, while other parts are freezing cold. Then you stop wondering, because you're being attacked by a giant cold werewolf, with icicles clacking together in its fur. I hope there's not a hot werewolf nearby, or the two of them will start a tornado or something.
A werewolf jumps out of the underbrush in front of you, snowflakes swirling around him, his breath steaming. He charges at you, eager to give you the cold shoulder (and claw and fang).
A squirrel runs past you on the path, the little guy really booking it, running for its life. A werewolf comes crashing through the underbrush after the squirrel, steam rising from its fur, its breath a fog in front of its icicle-lined nostrils. The werewolf chases the squirrel to a tree, then rears back its head and howls. The squirrel turns blue and drops out of the tree, frozen solid. "Squirrelcicles," the werewolf growls. "You can't beat 'em." He finishes eating the squirrel, and turns his attention to you.
A werewolf comes speeding by you on a toboggan, its freezing aura making an ice trail for it to slide on. He almost crashes into you. "Hey, watch it!" you shout. He turns to look and crash into a tree. "Now look what you made me do!" he howls, and attacks.
