In a factory as large as this one, as full of goons as this one is, Doc Clock could be just about anywhere. It's time to call on those detective skills that are ostensibly what you're famous for, rather than your ability to punch things.

You climb out of one of the factory windows and find a gargoyle to perch on for a while. You contemplate what a shame it is that this fine old factory has fallen into disuse and disrepair, and mourn the jobs that were lost. Hmm... maybe you could buy the factory and repurpose it into a gargoyle manufacturing plant. Anyway, you think about it for a while, and then return to the hunt refreshed.

You search the area for clues on where Doc Clock might be hiding. You don't find anything under any of the workbenches. Or in the storage cupboards. Or hiding behind the machinery. Hmmm... Oh wait -- upstairs. He's probably upstairs. He probably just has an office.

"Hey!" you growl. "What are you kids doing here?"

"Cor blimey!" one says in his adorable orphan patois, "It's Batfellow!"

"This place is too dangerous for you orphans to be messing around in here," you growl.

"Aw c'mon guvnor," says the orphan, "we weren't doin' nuffink wrong! Just playin' wif some o' this dynamite wot fell offa the back o' a passing lorry..."

"Give me that!" you growl, taking the dynamite away from them. "And go wait outside by my car!"

"Wanker," one of them mutters as they sullenly file out.

You haven't got a wrench, but a kickball should do the trick just as well. A well-placed kick sends Doc Clock's minions scattering like cogs from an overwound watch. Er, if a watch were likely to explode if you overwound it, instead of the mainspring just breaking. Look, clockmaking is an exact science, but metaphors are not.
