Corruption of Wretched Wally
Mixed in with your blood is a small quantity of the blood of a seal from Wretched Wally's brood. It's weird that "brood" and "blood" don't rhyme, don't you think?
Anyway. This corruption of your blood manifests in a variety of useful ways -- you're extra strong, your body's natural healing is enhanced, and you're covered with a bunch of sharp and evil-looking barbs.
