You're fighting a cyborg policemanThis policeman is part man, part robot, but all cop. He ingests doughnuts and 10-30 weight motor oil with equal gusto.

He starts to pick you up, but you remind him that you haven't been Mirandized yet, that he doesn't have probable cause to search you, and that your daddy's a judge. (FUMBLE!)

- Flow My Tears, The Policeman Said is a science fiction novel by Philip K. Dick set in a future dystopian police state.
- "Dead or alive, you're coming with me", "somewhere, a crime is happening", and "come quietly, or there will be trouble" are well-known phrases spoken by Robocop in the film of the same name.
- "Dead or alive, you're coming with me!" You point out that you're not a cowboy, nor do you ride on a steel horse" refer to the Bon Jovi song 'Wanted Dead or Alive' - "I'm a cowboy, on a steel horse I ride / I'm wanted dead or alive."
- The case of Miranda v. Arizona established the need to inform a suspect of his Fifth Amendment right not to self-incriminate. Such a summary of rights is known as a "Miranda warning." Probable cause is a set of standards demanded by the Fourth Amendment by which an officer can gauge whether he has the right to make an arrest.
