Notes
- Getting eaten by a grue will cause Beaten Up and set your HP to zero.
- Clicking on "Would you like to Restore, Restart, or Quit?" will take you to your campsite.
References
- "You are likely to be eaten by a grue" and the message following it are a reference to the 1979 Infocom computer adventure game Zork, in which, if one attempted to proceed through a dark area without a light of some sort, one would see the message: "It is pitch black. You are likely to be eaten by a grue." If one persisted, one was generally eaten and promptly died.
- "Just listen to the rhythm of my heart" is a line from I Believe In A Thing Called Love by The Darkness.
- The dying message is a reference to many text adventures, such as Zork, Nethack and Enchanter.
