You're fighting a deadly viseDon't confuse this with a deadly vice--those are fun things that are bad for you, like smoking licorice whips while pounding quarts of buttermilk while driving while blindfolded. This is just a device designed to grab something and hold it firmly while you apply the glue/solder/whipped cream.
Or, rather, that's what it was until a student dripped some blood on it after a run-in with a jigsaw. Now that it's got the taste of blood, it just wants to grab any part of you it can and squeeze until it gets more.
