Attack

• Killing a ghost:
  • Backing away, you throw your axe at the ghost. The spectre is shredded, and dissolves into nothingness.
  • The ghost vanishes with a mournful wail as your thrown axe tears through its spectral form.
  • You hurl your axe at the ghost, which screams and bursts into gray shreds that soon fade from view.
  • You keep your distance and hurl your axe at the ghost. It explodes into tattered shreds of ectoplasm and vanishes.
  • You keep your distance from the ghost and hurl your axe. The phantom is torn asunder and vanishes with a howl.
  • You throw your axe at the ghost, which bursts into quickly-dissolving tatters.
• Multiple ghosts:
  • Entering your body:
    • A ghost flies into your body, shrieking maniacally.
    • A ghost grabs at you and vanishes underneath your skin.
    • A ghost howls as it dives headlong into your chest and vanishes.
    • A ghost throws itself at you, diving headlong into your body.
    • A ghost throws itself at you, vanishing when it touches your skin.
    • Another ghost cackles madly, and jumps into you before you can react.
    • Another ghost flies right through you and vanishes.
    • Another ghost grabs at you and is absorbed into your body.
    • Another ghost rushes at you, and dives into your body.
  • Your reaction:
    • A clammy chill runs up and down your spine.
    • It is extremely uncomfortable.
    • You can feel your bones growing colder.
    • You feel like you will never feel warmth again.
    • You grab your stomach and double over with shock.
    • You stagger back with terror and revulsion.
    • You suppress a shudder of absolute revulsion.
    • Your skin crawls horribly.
• Another ghost:
  • A ghost flies toward you, screaming madly.
  • A ghost rushes at you with a furious howl.
  • Another ghost approaches, howling as though in terrible pain.
  • Another ghost drifts slowly and inexorably toward you.
  • Another ghost hovers toward you, shrieking wildly.
  • Another ghost rushes toward you, cackling insanely.
