- As scraps are collected, the stat gains increase by (NUMBER_OF_SCRAPS / 10)% capping at 15% (at 100 scraps).
- Scraps increase per-adventure regeneration increases as well, increasing by (NUMBER_OF_SCRAPS / 10), capping at 32-33 MP and 34-36 HP (at 300 scraps).
- At 1100 scraps the familiar scrapbook also provides +1 Moxie.
- Scraps do not carry over between ascensions, resetting the dynamic stats back to their base values.
- You can spend 100 scraps to use the skill Show Your Boring Familiar Pictures to banish a monster.
- Is automatically placed in your inventory for you at the beginning of your run, with the message:

Strategy
- CLEESH, Macrometeorite, Back-Up to your Last Enemy, and other methods of Monster Changing allow you to get additional in-combat scraps.
- short white allowing familiars to act twice per round grants additional scrap.
- The maximum number of scraps acquirable in a regular fight is 4: one at the start of combat, one during combat, one potato-like blocking action, and one at the end of combat. A highly optimized familiar can gather as many as 8 scraps in a single combat.
