This is another one of those BorderTown specialty boozes. This one has tiny flakes of hamethyst in it. Rumor says the flakes cut little tiny holes in your throat lining to make the booze get absorbed faster.
I don't mean that's a rumor going around; I mean some crazy guy named Rumor actually believes that crap.

- The name translates to Ghost in the Machine, a title used by many different authors and artists. However, given the text in the adventure where the item originates, it is fairly certain that the intended reference is the 1981 album Ghost in the Machine.
