While wandering around the back alley, you find a circle of men surrounding two roosters engaged in mortal combat. One of them is a sleek, well-fed, big red rooster. He appears to be holding a bowl of cereal... odd. The other is a big white rooster with a red comb. He has a curious crow -- to your gringo ears, it sounds like "I say, I say, I say BOY! I say, I say, I say..."
A dirty old man with an eyepatch sees you lurking around the perimeter and confronts you.
"Hey, señor, you want to bet on the fight? The red one's name is Tapajunta Del Maiz -- he is favored to win. The white one's name is Cuerno De La Pierna Del Cuerno De La Niebla. He is the underdog. Would you care to place a wager?

You place your bet, and watch as Tapawhatever De Whatsit emerges on top. Of a pile of bloody feathers.
"Here are you weenings, Señor," says the dirty old man. You freak out for a second before you realize that he was saying "winnings."

You watch in horror as your favored rooster gets pecked to death by his opponent. Your moral outrage combines with your outrage at the loss of your 500 meat. As you walk away from the cockfighting ring, you feel a chill on the back of your neck and turn around. It looks like the ghost of the losing rooster has taken a liking to you and is following you around. Creepy.

This flagrant display of cruelty to living creatures disgusts you. You decide to head back to the Icy Peak and eviscerate some more Yetis.

You draw and brandish your candy cane sword. Surprised by the sudden appearance of a weapon, all the men run off. You pick up the meat they leave behind and bask in the adulation of two fierce roosters.

- Choosing "Walk away in disgust" does not consume an Adventure.
- This adventure will not appear if you have less than 500 meat on hand.

- "Tapajunta Del Maiz" is the Kellogg's Corn Flakes rooster. A literal translation of this name is "Scab of Corn."
- "Cuerno De La Pierna Del Cuerno De La Niebla" is Foghorn Leghorn. Literally, "Horn of the leg of the horn of the fog." The phrase "I say, I say, I say BOY! I say, I say, I say..." is one of Foghorn's catch phrases from the WB Cartoons.
- The name of this adventure is a play on "Finger lickin' good", one of the slogans for the American fast food chain Kentucky Fried Chicken.
- The message when you lose the bet refers to a line from the song "The Gambler", made famous by Kenny Rogers: "You got to know when to walk away, and know when to run."
- The Knott Yetis of the Icy Peak were very popular objects of farming when this adventure was added. There have since been added more meat-yielding locations, but the Peak is still somewhat useful for new players and for acquiring meat in Hardcore.
