It's a tiny fudge-shaped window to nowhere, a place (if it can be called such) with no dimension, form, or light.
Except, if you turn your head to just the right angle and look in just the right direction, you can make out a tiny, brilliant blue glint, dragging behind it a pale scratch in the darkness of the void like a grain of sand ground against a windowpane.
