Getting a Leg Up (Crimbo 2012)
You step up quietly behind one of the animelfs who is actually working instead of lurking and attacking you. It looks like he's building a little toy robot kookaburra, but then he snaps a thing back, folds a thing around, and it turns into a leg!
"Hey, that's pretty cool," you say, "but do kids really want to play with a leg?"
"Oh, once we build it to scale, people won't have any choice but to... yipe!" he yells, finally turning around to see you. The animelf leaps off his chair and runs into the darkness.
You pocket the little kookaburra/leg toy and bring it to Uncle Crimboku. "This is good stuff, kid, ha ha," he says. "It would be accurate to say that we could reverse-engineer it and use it to counter whatever they're building in there ne!"
