You're fighting a grizzled survivorEven before the elfpocalypse, this guy was already a hard-ass by elven standards. Granted, elves aren't the most butch of races, but after months spent dodging aliens and blasting mutants, he's pretty formidable by human standards, too. Anyone who isn't at least as grizzled as he is, he considers a liability, and he doesn't suffer liabilities gladly.

He walks barefoot across broken glass to get to you, then kicks you with a foot full of glass shards. Argh! Ouch! Ugh!
He makes a knife out of a tin can and a plastic fork, then stabs you in the <giblets> with it. Eek! Ow! Eek!
He shoots you in the <giblets>, just to see if you can take it. You can't. Eek! Ow! Oof!
He pretends he's going to punch you, then gives you two for flinching. Oof! Ugh! Oof!
He ducks behind a crate. You wonder if you're playing hide and seek or something, but then he leaps out sideways in slow motion, firing hundreds of shots from both of his guns. A few of them manage to actually hit you, even. Eek! Argh!
He stops to make some shotgun shells out of bits of detritus lying around
He pulls a teddy bear out of his knapsack and gazes meaningfully at it for a minute, before resuming his tough demeanor.
He lights up a stogie and puffs it stoically.
He pauses to make sure the bloodstains on his tank top are symmetrical.
He stops to shave his beard with a huge hunting knife. The weird thing is, after he's done, he still has a five o'clock shadow. (FUMBLE!)
