Oh, to be one of a super-villain's chosen lieutenants! They get the best gear, the most loot, and are most likely to be killed as an example to the others if they fail to keep Batfellow from foiling the villain's plans. That last one isn't so much a benefit per se, but it is quite the motivational tool.
