This is a stick-on moustache that makes anyone who wears it look like a total creep. The idea is that you wear it knowing that it makes you look like a total creep, so you're actually making fun of people who wear them without knowing they look like total creeps, so that makes you look like a guy who likes making fun of things, and not a total creep yourself.
In other words, it's a quasi-effectual personality substitute, depending on the crowd you run with. Your mini-hipster should do okay with it.
