You're fighting JedediahYou see a strange black hut in the distance and, figuring it must be the boss's hideout, you head toward it. It turns out to be smaller and closer than you thought, because it is in fact that boss's hat. Which is bigger than you expected, so we've got the rare case of something being both smaller and larger than you thought it was going to be, isn't that fun? "Fie on thee!" says the strange man. "Thou woulds't interrupt our feaste of thankefullness and peace? I shall cracke thy head upon Plymouth's Rock!"

He tries to headbutt you with his massive hat, but in accordance with the standard rules of weaponry, its huge size makes it very slow.
He tries to shoot you, but his flintlock pistol is empty. "Curse these syngle-shotte fyre-arms!" he scowls. "I cannote waite for someone to invent the Glock."
He starts to preach his very boring religion at you, but you're too busy trying to hurt him to pay attention.
His hat becomes unbalanced and slips down over his eyes, and also all of the rest of him. (FUMBLE!)
