Junksprite sharpener

From A KoL Wiki
junksprite sharpener You're fighting a junksprite key sharpener

Junksprites are kind of like gnomes, only with wings and torsos, and without the weird speech impedimegnt. They share a love of tinkering and crafting with their gnomish cousins, though, and a similar love of beating the stuffing out of people who interrupt their tinkering. This particular junksprite sharpens pieces of metal to upcycle into semi-lethal crafts. He was just turning some tin cans into shuriken, and now you've provided a target for him to test them out.

Hit Message(s):

He whips a tin-can shuriken at you, cutting you and rubbing beer in your wounds. Ouch! Eek! Ooh!

He sharpens a rusty pickaxe and picks you with it. Eek! Ouch! Ow!

He sharpens a car bumper and uses it as a giant katana. Ow! Ugh! Ow!

He waves a magic wand at you. Well, actually, it's a car antenna sharpened into a fencing foil, and it slashes you but good. Ugh! Argh! Ow!

He sharpens a swiss army knife and somehow manages to stab you with the magnifying glass. Ugh! Ugh! Ooh!

He sharpens a toothbrush and shivs you prison-style. Ow! Ouch! Ugh!

Critical Hit Message:

He sharpens a whole set of kitchen knives and uses them to remove half of your bones. Argh! Ooh! Ow!

Miss Message(s):

He throws some tin-can shuriken at you, but you dodge like a robot ninja.

He tries to hit you with a pickaxe, but you tell him not to pick on you.

He tries to sharpen a lump of garbage to stab you with, but it's too squishy.

He tries to stab you with a sharpened swiss army knife, but it's hard to sharpen the tiny tweezers enough to hurt you.

He tries to stab you with a sharpened toothbrush, but he only sharpened the bristle part, and it's still not so sharp.

Fumble Message:

He stops to pour some water on his red-hot whetstone. (FUMBLE!)
