Just Taking the Opportunity to be a Pedant
While poking around the shelves, you find a basket labelled "skeleton keys". The contents, it turns out, are not keys shaped like skeletons, or even particularly bone themed. Nor are they what many people erroneously think of as "skeleton keys", that being the sort of key with a cylindrical shaft and a notched square bit at the end, as used in antique locks. Rather, this is a basket of keys that have been filed down to bypass the security features of a certain type of warded lock, thus allowing the user to unlock any lock of the same style with one key. Due to this glaring security defect, this type of lock is not in widespread use anymore, but hey, you never know.
