- As with Lavalos, this is a reference to Lavos, the final boss of Chrono Trigger. The final form of the boss, Lavos Core, appears as a humanoid robot with two smaller figures flanking it. (Notably, the humanoid form was not the actual core, but instead one of the two "Bits". The actual core was the smaller figure on the right.)
