Just as you're settling into your daily routine of staring at the wall and wondering where you're going to scratch up enough coins to pay this month's rent, the phone rings. "Hey," you say into it, "it'sa <Player Name> Sibs Plumbing, what can I do for ya?"
"Is this <Player Name>?" asks the voice on the other end of the line.
"That'sa me!" you reply.
"Super <Player Name>?"
Mama mia. You'd tried to leave that life behind you, but nobody ever wants you to just repair a toilet anymore. Nothing's ever simple. "...What's the job?" you ask.
"I'm calling from the Council of Loathing. A whole bunch of weird turtles and... mushrooms, I guess? They invaded out of nowhere and kidnapped Princess Ralph!"
Your eyes flick back and forth between the stack of bills and the little framed photograph lying face-down on your desk. Eventually, the bills win. "Alla right," you sigh. "I'm onna my way."
