This is one of those little plastic army guys with a cellophane parachute attached. What's fun about these is the way you can melt the guy's nose with a cigarette lighter and pretend he's Owen Wilson behind enemy lines. Assuming the enemy is about six feet away from where you're standing.

What's even more fun is pretending that all the guys Owen Wilson has ever played are actually all the same character, just working at a different job.

When Used

• During combat:

	You hurl the little parachute guy into the air as hard as you can.

• If one has already been used:

There's already a parachute guy up there. You wouldn't want people to think there was an invasion.

• After combat ends:

You wait for the parachute guy to float lazily back to earth. It's not terribly exciting, but at least it gives you the opportunity to catch your breath a little.

You gain 10−20 hit points.

You gain 10−20 Mana Points.

• Sometimes:

You pick him up and stuff him back in your sack.

Notes

• The item is recovered 70% of the time.
• Neither the hp and mp restoration nor the item recovery effects trigger after combats ended by running away.

References

• The second sentence is a reference to the film Behind Enemy Lines, where Owen Wilson plays a Navy pilot forced to parachute from his fighter over hostile territory. He is well known for the distinctive shape of his nose, which has been broken twice.

• The message you get when attempting to use a second parachute guy in the same combat may be a reference to the 1980's movie Red Dawn, in which an invasion of the continental United States is spearheaded by Soviet paratroopers.
