You step off the stairs and through a doorway, which leads into a bleak desert landscape. You walk though it for a moment, looking for any landmarks or features, and suddenly there's a *splash*. Eurgh! You appear to have stepped in a puddle of... clock.
You look around you and see more of them -- one drooping from the branch of a dead tree, another slowly dripping down the side of a perfectly square rock. Nearby, a team of ants are busily subduing a pocketwatch.
You decide to turn around and head back to the stairway before it starts to rain Swatches or something.
