Lovebug abilities and encounters

Characters who have used a bottle of lovebug pheromones gain permanent access to three combat skills and a variety of post-combat encounters.

Skills

Adds the following skills to your character:

• Summon Love Mosquito (Deals damage, restores HP, and staggers opponent)
• Summon Love Scarabs (Deals damage, restore MP, and staggers opponent. Replaces Love Mosquito in an Actually Ed the Undying challenge path ascension.)
• Summon Love Stinkbug (Deals recurring physical and stench damage, effectiveness decays with subsequent use across one rollover)
• Summon Love Gnats (Stuns opponent, effectiveness decays with subsequent use across one rollover)

These skills are automatically made available in Hardcore, and persist even through Picky paths.

Post-combat encounters

A love grub shyly approaches you and hands you some extra Meat.

You gain 86−212? Meat.

A lovegrub crawls out from under a nearby pile of refuse and delivers a little stack of Meat.

You gain 80−93? Meat.

You gain 25 Meat.

A love weevil burrows out of a box of pasta and gives you a little chunk of Meat.

A love scabie scurries out of a nearby hobo and hands you some Meat.

Notes

• You do not need to use the skills to get post-combat encounters.
• Location-specific lovebugs seem to override possible results that aren't location specific.
• The love oil beetle decreases the pressure by an additional 6.34 µB/Hg.
• Special currency encounters have a daily limit:
  • Coinspiracy are capped at 5
  • FunFunds™ are capped at 2
  • Wal-Mart gift certificates were initially uncapped on November 3rd, 2015, but were subsequently nerfed fixed to be capped at 5.
  • Chroner are capped at 27
  • Other currencies are unconfirmed
• Lovebugs will act underwater as well.
