Ma Cherie
From A KoL Wiki
While wandering through the pens, you see a bugbear walking under a scaffolding with a couple cans of white paint on top of it. You shout at it to be careful and as it turns to look at you, it walks into the scaffolding and a can of white paint falls on it.
The paint leaves a white stripe down the bugbear's back. Out of nowhere, a skunk with a weird french accent runs up to the bugbear and starts kissing it up and down its arm.
Since bugbears have a highly evolved sense of personal space, it doesn't take long for the bugbear to go into ‘frappe' mode. You chuckle to yourself as the skunk flees for its life, missing most of its fur.
You gain 10 Chutzpah. |
Occurs at The Bugbear Pen (post-quest).

- This is a spoof of the Looney Tunes shorts starring the character Pepé Le Pew (a French skunk), almost all of which involved Pepe falling madly in love with a black cat that somehow ends up with a white stripe on her back.
- Frappé is French for "shake" as in the noun milk shake, or "hit" as in the verb strike. It may also refer to the common "Frappé" setting on blenders; the word is rarely otherwise seen in English and so many associate it specifically with a blender's rapid chopping action.
- Ma Cherie is French for "my dear" or "beloved".
