Blocked attack messages consume 1 zombie even during non-combat-round messages such as failing to use rain-doh blue balls a second time or thumb-twiddling. |
Your zombie henchmen are helping block attacks from your opponent. Mainly with their faces. This might get messy.
Obtained From
- Casting Meat Shields (1 Adventure)
Notes
- During each round of combat one of the following messages will usually be displayed, indicating that your enemy's attack was blocked:
- As your opponent winds up to attack, one of your minions gets in the way and is messily dispatched.
- One of your zombie minions shuffles forward to protect you from your opponent, and returns as a rain of blood and parts.
- One of the zombies shuffles forward to protect you, and gets creamed by your foe's attack.
- One of your zombies is felled by your opponent's attack. He died for a noble cause, and his name will not be, uh, well, never mind.
- Your opponent attacks, but one of the zombies soaks up the damage like a sponge. Like a sponge that now has a lot of broken bones.
- Each blocked enemy attack message consumes 1 zombie, regardless of if an unblocked attacked would actually hit.
- If you run out of zombies, it stops working.
- If you acquire this effect while not a Zombie Master (such as through the ittah bittah hookah), you have no zombies, so it does nothing.
- Attacks are blocked 90% of the time.
- May be cast more than once, to increase turns of the effect to carry into subsequent combats.
- Zombies can "block" and be consumed even if you get the jump.
