Mystical Crap
You spot two of the local frog-lobster men squatting on the beach. They've decked themselves out with swirly tattoos, seagull feathers, and other such accoutrements -- some sort of shamanic garb -- so you sneak closer and duck behind some wreckage to observe them more closely. They take turns scattering a collection of small bones, fish skulls, and carved pebbles onto the sand, and studying them intently. It appears to be some sort of divinatory ritual, and after watching carefully for a few minutes, you gain new insights into the working of the universe.
Then one of them groans and hands a fistful of shiny beads to the other, and you realize that they're actually just shooting dice. Still, there's no take-backs on cosmic understanding.

- This may be reference to the show Futurama, where the character Doctor Zoidberg's race drapes themselves with seaweed and feathers and then display themselves on the beach as part of their mating ritual. This same race also creates small, shiny blue beads internally and Doctor Zoidberg throws them up in one episode, where they are made into necklaces sold to hippies.
- The title of this adventure is a reference to the album and song Mystical Shit by the band King Missile
