The Pork Elves used ancient metallurgical techniques to combine the strength of steel, the brilliance of silver, and the fragrance of lard into one metal, which they named "pig-iron". They used this metal to make very strong armor that is nevertheless quite delicate-seeming. These shinguards in particular make it look like you've got fancy curlycued^[sic] front gates for your legs.
