Prayer of the Roller Skates
You swim up to a trio of roller skates. They're lifting little skate weights, smoking underwater cigarettes, and generally looking tough.
"Oh, look," one of them says, "it's an airbreather with one of the ice skate's blades. Look out, fellas, he might break out in a dance number!"
"Wow," you say, "you guys sure are tough. But I'll let you in on a secret: I have opposable thumbs, a bad attitude, and I don't know a single step of choreography. The only dance I know ends with blood in the water, so are you ready to tango?"
"O-okay," the roller skate stammers, "I'm not sure what half of that means, but we don't want no trouble. We'll clear out, okay?" The skates turn and leave, muttering amongst themselves.
