When Used

• From inventory:

You eat the violet taffy, feeling waves of ultraviolet light pierce your cerebal cortex. Everything is purple. You are purple. You are everything.

You acquire an effect: Purple Reign (duration: 10 Adventures)

• In combat:

While underwater:

	You toss the taffy, and the salt water soaks into it. A deep purple octomom swims up, snatches the taffy with a tentacle, and drops it into her purse. Then she sets about tidying the area.

If you've already summoned a taffy fish this fight:

	You've already fed a fish some taffy this fight. And you know what they say: "Feed a fish a taffy, he'll be your friend for a fight. Feed a different fish a taffy during the same fight, you can't do that."

Otherwise:

	You toss the taffy into the air, but nothing happens. You remember people talking about how great salt-water taffy is -- maybe if you tried using this underwater...

Notes

• Staggers enemies 50% of the time, with the message:

The octomom sees your opponent about to attack you, and begins to swat at it with her purse, stopping it.

• At the end of combat with the octomom active, the following message will occur:
