You're fighting Regret ManYou step into Regret Man's chamber, and are almost physically knocked over by the aura of misery.
Then you are actually physically knocked over by Regret Man. You get up and dust yourself off, trying to ignore his constant sobbing.

He fires a burst of tears from his arm cannon, soaking your <skull>. Your eyes well up. Brrrrrrrrrrr. (cold damage)
He charges at your and headbutts you in the <skull>, covering you with cold, clammy tears. Brrrrrrrrrrr. (cold damage)
He grabs you and looks into your eyes. You have a sudden flare-up of sympathy, and are dumbstruck by the sadness in his eyes. Then you are regular struck by his fist in your <skull>. Man. That was a real cheap shot. Ouch!
You ignore his blubbering.
You ignore his sobbing.
You ignore his weeping.
He is momentarily so wracked by sobs that he is unable to move. It's almost enough to make you pity him. Almost. (FUMBLE!)
Regret Man weeps profusely. A surprisingly deep puddle of tears forms around his feet.
Regret Man's tears continue to flow. The puddle of tears surrounding him is now ankle deep.
Regret Man continues to sob. The puddle of tears becomes a lake of tears up to his knees. And, more importantly, I suppose, your knees.
Regret Man's crying is starting to become a real problem. Specifically, a you being in tears up to your neck problem.
Regret Man unleashes a final crescendo of tears, completely filling his chamber. You are overcome by a salty wave and washed out the door.

Notes
- Every round Regret Man cries, filling the room with more tears. After 5 rounds; the battle ends without you being beaten up; but you have to fight your way to his room again.
- Defeating Regret Man dispels Consumed by Regret.
- Using Fear Vapor results in "You shove a power cell into the condenser. It buzzes angrily as it sucks up the puddle of tears at Regret Man's feet. And then instead of a cloud, it emits a rattling cough and a decent-sized chunk of salt." This resets his special attack.
