You're fighting a scavenger bugbearThese bugbears are responsible for stoking the ship's fusion reactors. While simply saying "I heard there's gonna be a sweet party tonight, dude!" gets most people stoked, the reactors require tons of garbage to break down for fuel.
So these bugbears are trash collectors, but in a futuristic alien way, so it's way more glamorous.
