When Used:

You and your opponent talk out your differences in a calm and reasonable fashion, and then sneak away before the Internet Drama Enforcers arrive. or You and your opponent have a reasoned and measured discussion, and eventually just agree to disagree. Better pinch yourself, just to make sure. or You and your opponent have a calm discussion of each others viewpoints, and you each walk away with a newfound empathy for those with different beliefs. Which is how you know this is a fantasy game. You acquire an effect: Rational Thought (duration: 10* Adventures)

Notes

• Insta-kills the opponent, except for bosses and certain special monsters. You get stats, but no items or meat. This includes items that normally have a 100% drop rate and quest items.
• Against monsters that are immune:

You try to have a measured and reasonable discussion, but %pro^[sic] just isn't having any of it.

• Although the combat message says "duration: 10 Adventures", you actually receive 11 turns of the effect, decremented by the length of the fight. (I.e., you will end up with 11 turns if it was a free fight)
• If the effect fails, then you can still use your other SCIENCE! skills in the same fight. (Normally you can only use one SCIENCE! skill per fight.)
• If you repeatedly try using this skill against an immune monster, you can keep delaying the fight, essentially staggering them over and over. Neither you nor your opponent can attack, but using a skill like Summon Love Stinkbug or Curse of Weaksauce beforehand will result in the ongoing effect continuing every round.
