You're fighting Scott the MinerHearing an odd clanking noise nearby, you investigate, and discover an oddly square-headed man wearing a blue shirt and what appear to be solid gold trousers, meticulously chiseling a perfectly square hole in the wall with a hand-crafted iron pickaxe.
"Hey, buddy," you call out to him. "I'm gonna need you to explain yourself. Because seriously, I have no idea what is going on with you."
Seeing you, he accidentally throws his pickaxe on the ground in a panic, which is amusing... but then he draws a sword made of solid diamond. Holy crap!

He pours a bucket of red-hot molten lava on you. Aaargh! How is that even possible?? Ugh! Eek! Oof! Ow!
He places a bundle of bright red TNT next to you, and lights it. It starts flashing bright white, which hypnotizes you until it detonates. Eek! Ow! Ooh! Ouch!
He quickly places a large square table on the ground, cuts up a log to make sticks, and combines the sticks with chicken feathers and bits of flint to make arrows. Then he shoots one of the arrows at you. Ow! Argh! Oof! Oof!
He pulls out an old-school flint and steel. It turns out he's really proficient with it, because before you realize what he's doing, he's already set you on fire. Ouch! Ooh! Ouch! Ooh! (hot damage)
You hear a hissing noise behind you, and turn to see a thing that looks sort of like an angry-faced pickle with little stubby feet. It swells up and violently explodes in your face, by way of greeting. (CRITICAL HIT!) Oof! Ow! Ugh! Ooh!
He pulls a bucket out of his inventory and dumps the contents on you, but it turns out to be filled with milk.
He pulls out his bow, but discovers that he's out of arrows. Then he discovers that he's out of flint. With a sigh, he puts a block of gravel on the ground and punches it until it breaks, again and again.
He places a bundle of bright red TNT next to you, but by the time he's sorted out some redstone wire and a lever to ignite it with, you're already out of the blast radius.
He pulls out an old-school flint and steel, and sets the ground next to you on fire. You take a step away from it.
The miner can't reach you, because he's stuck on the other side of a bottomless pit. Stupid chunk errors. (FUMBLE!)

- This monster is a reference to "Steve?", the default player-character skin from the blocky sandbox/adventure game Minecraft.
- Like other Zombie Slayer hunters, this character is known for facing zombies. Zombies are a common enemy in Minecraft, appearing on the overworld each night and underground wherever there is sufficient darkness.
- In Minecraft, it is indeed possible to make golden pants, wield a sword of solid diamond, and carry an iron bucket full of molten lava. It is also not uncommon to accidentally throw away one's tools.
- The "angry-faced pickle" is the Minecraft mob "Creeper". Despite its appearance, Jick did not design this.
- A "chunk error" is a glitch in Minecraft where part of the world fails to load, resulting in what appears to be a bottomless pit.
