You may have encountered fire ants in the kingdom -- they're the red, ornery desert creatures with the sting that feels like burning. This is one of the logical evolutionary counterpart, the ice ant: it's blue, pretty mellow, and its bite feels like catching a snowflake. It's also delicious, provided you're a bird.
