You press the little button on top of the core and ten automa-bot parts slam themselves against it, forming a little robot. The little robot starts orbiting you and yelling at anybody who comes near you. You acquire an effect: Securitybot Escort (duration: 100 Adventures)

Otherwise:

You need at least 10 automa-bot parts for this thing to be able to assemble itself.
